Watford Wizards Crowned Tournament Champions

Watford Wizards delivered an outstanding performance at the Goalball UK 2025–26 Regional League (Region C – Tournament 2) at Riverside Leisure Centre in Chelmsford, securing the tournament title with four wins from four matches and a flawless competitive record.

Competing with a three-player squad — Daniel, Orla and Fin — the Wizards demonstrated exceptional teamwork, tactical discipline, and composure throughout the day.

Game 1

The tournament began with a hard-fought 5–4 victory over Croysutt Warriors, where resilience, structure, and calm decision-making under pressure set the tone for the rest of the competition.

Game 2

This was followed by a dominant 4–0 win against Cambridge Gown, built on structured defence, intelligent positioning, and clear communication.

Game 3

The third match saw Watford take full control with a 6–1 victory over London Elephants, showcasing disciplined game management, collective movement, and balanced scoring.

Game 4

In the final match against Chelmsford FM, the Wizards showed true champions’ composure. Leading 1–0 at half-time, they remained patient and controlled, opening the game in the second half to secure a 5–0 victory and confirm their status as tournament winners.

Across the tournament, Watford Wizards scored 20 goals, conceded just 5, and kept two clean sheets. With balanced scoring across the squad and consistent performances in every match, the team delivered a championship display built on unity, discipline, and collective excellence.

This result is about more than medals. It’s about what happens when determination, teamwork, and belief come together. The Wizards have shown what’s possible when you keep turning up, keep improving, and keep believing.
