Watford Wizards at the Intermediate Goalball Finals in Sheffield 2025
Over the weekend, a composite team representing the Watford Wizards competed at the Intermediate Goalball Finals in Sheffield. The team was made up of two players from Watford and two from Cambridge Dons, forming a strong and spirited squad ready to take on the challenge.
Despite coming from different clubs, the team gelled quickly, showing excellent communication and teamwork on court. It was a fantastic example of how collaboration can create something greater than the sum of its parts.
The tournament brought together top intermediate teams from across the country, and our Wizards gave it everything—working hard, adapting fast, and representing both clubs with pride.

We want to thank Goalball UK for organising such a great event, and everyone who supported the team along the way. Playing in the finals was a brilliant way to wrap up the season, and the experience will push us forward as we train for what’s next.
This tournament reminded us how much is possible when clubs support one another and work together—and we hope to see more of that in the seasons to come.
